We manage our portfolio of several thousand individuals, comprised of small groups and international businesses through thoughtful internal development and carrier connections. Bedrosian & Associates’ knowledge is from a place of proven experience which continues to build through broker education, awards and recognition.
During our lifetime, insurance protection plays a vital role in our personal and business planning. At Bedrosian & Associates, we provide professional insurance service that assesses your insurance requirements as they relate to your unique personal and business needs.
Ron began his insurance career with Transamerica in 1974. He immediately qualified for the company’s top production club and has earned life membership in the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). Over the last few decades, Ron can be found at many industry conferences and council meetings. He serves on many advisory boards which assist with the development and promotion of life and health insurance products within CA and across the country.
In addition to earning several of the industry’s highest awards, Ron has also qualified for Court of the Table (COT), where he exchanged advanced sales ideas and productivity ideas with an international network of leading financial planners and life insurance professionals.
Both of Ron’s sons work with him at Bedrosian & Associates. Ron and his wife Cheryl extensively travel, ski, fly fish, hike and enjoy other sports.
Ron attended San Jose State University, where he obtained a B.A. in Marketing and Risk Management. He was born and raised in Burlingame, California and attended Serra High School in San Mateo.

Ryan Bedrosian, CEBS, CLTC
Ryan enthusiastically joined Bedrosian & Associates in 2005. He is committed to enhancing the company’s established client relationships, as well as bringing Bedrosian & Associates’ dedication to customer service, technology and quality protection to a new generation of businesses and individuals.
Recently, Ryan released a new employee benefit enrollment platform, Simple Life. His mission is to streamline the insurance process from the initial request for proposal to the acceptance of a policy. In the upcoming months, Simple Life will be rolling out additional employee onboarding, compliance, reporting and HR services.
In addition, Ryan is on multiple insurance carrier and general agency advisory boards. He is working hand in hand with the underwriting departments of numerous insurance carriers to begin transforming their thirty year old processes into the new age.
Towards the end of 2013, Ryan started an online insurance company Benefit Agents which assists small businesses and individuals looking to purchase Covered California and Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) plans. Benefit Agents was in the Top 15 insurance platforms to onboard the most Covered CA business in the state.
Ryan first qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Court of the Table in 2008. Those who qualify demonstrate exceptional professional knowledge, strict ethical conduct and outstanding client service. For the past few years, Ryan has been a Top of the Table (TOT) member which identifies him as being in the top 1% of total MDRT members. The TOT achievement is recognized worldwide by only 1,800 financial professionals annually.
Ryan completed the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) Program under the academic direction of The Wharton School of Business. The CEBS curriculum represents specialized knowledge in group benefits, retirement, and compensation. It is the only professional certification in total compensation and only about 7,000 individuals actively hold the designation in the U.S.
Ryan is a lifetime member of the Certified Long-Term Care (CLTC) designation. The designation is recognized by state regulators to those that have demonstrated the essential knowledge for the appropriate sale of long-term care insurance.
Ryan currently holds licenses in Accident and Health and Life Insurance in California and other states. He obtained his B.A. in Law & Society at The University of California, Santa Barbara. Ryan’s hobbies include traveling, boating, skiing, fly fishing, and tennis. Ryan is also a student of wine and viticulture. He attended Serra High School in San Mateo and was born and raised in Redwood City and Menlo Park, California.

Alex began his insurance career at Word & Brown General Agency. The experience he received allowed him to grasp the methods and strategies of the insurance industry from the onset. Alex builds upon his established knowledge and expertise as he constantly grows Bedrosian & Associates portfolio. Alex focuses on expanding the agency’s large group services by implementing the best benefit enrollment solutions, HR and compliance software available.
Alex has strengthened the agency’s ability to partner within the industry by attending advisory board and council meetings. His studies continue through the insurance programs of the CLU and LTCP. The Charter Life Underwriter (CLU) designation is the global benchmark of expertise in the areas of life insurance and business and estate planning. The Long-Term Care Professional (LTCP) is the premier designation of the long-term care insurance industry, a mark of excellence that distinguishes recipients as the elite in the field.
Alex graduated top of his class, earning Cum Laude with a B.A. in Marketing from San Diego State University. His studies included a semester abroad at Oxford University with the emphasis of global marketing and foreign political affairs. Alex’s lives an active lifestyle and loves being outdoors. His hobbies include traveling, skiing, baseball and golf. Born and raised in Menlo Park, Alex attended Menlo-Atherton High School.

Ryan began his insurance career selling individual policies in Santa Barbara in 2007. By 2009, he relocated to San Francisco to work with Bedrosian & Associates as an account manager. Ryan plays a key role in creating competitive employee benefit packages for start-ups as well as advising existing companies on how to remain in the most competitive position. Ryan and his team pride themselves on implementing new technologies, ACA and other HR solutions. He provides valuable feedback to our closest general agents and is on advisory boards for many of the top insurance carriers.
A couple of years ago, Ryan moved back to Santa Barbara to open the first Southern CA, Bedrosian & Associates location. He continues to work closely with the Bay Area offices while heavily concentrated on assisting business owners in his local community.
Ryan was born and raised in Barbados until he moved to Colorado for high school. He attended University of Northern Colorado where he obtained a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences. Ryan moved back to Santa Barbara in 1999 and was a part of the opening team for Bacara Resort & Spa. Shortly after, he met his wife and they got married in her home town of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The McKenzie’s welcomed their daughter into the world in November of 2014.
While at home in Santa Barbara, Ryan can often be found surfing at one of the many point breaks or sailing off the coastline. His family takes great joy in soaking in all the community has to offer such as the farmers markets, hiking, wine tasting, sunset strolls on the beach and enjoying local food with close friends.
